INDUSTRIAL ENGINE AIR BREATHER OIL MIST TRAP

Connects to the Engine Air Breather outlet pipe particularly on large engines which are based in confined areas e.g. Generator houses and containers, industrial engines etc.

This unit will trap the oil that is breathed out through the engine breather pipe and will prevent the oil mist from settling over the engine, radiator and associated equipment, keeping areas clean and dry from oil contamination reducing fire risks and health and safety issues.

Oil misted air is passed into the Filter Housing and the polypropylene filter prevents mist from forming, allowing the air to separate from the oil and the oil to drain in to the external housing.

The waste oil is collected in the steel housing and the level is indicated by the visual gauge. Periodic draining is manually controlled and the filter cartridge is changed at normal routine service intervals. Smaller units are available for smaller engine systems
