‘The Control of Pollution Regulations 2001’ (Since September 1st 2005 it is now mandatory to comply with the regulations, even if no spill occurrence has been reported)
By listening to our customers needs we have developed a new, compact and eco friendly filtration trolley designed for ease of use for owners & operators and to provide low maintenance, long operating life and value for money trouble free filtering.
The robust steel framed trolley has four 7” wheels fitted with pneumatic tyres, 2 fixed and 2 steering, to provide excellent manoeuvrability, across all ground areas. A rubber bumper strip is incorporated around the platform to protect the trolley and to safeguard other equipment particularly door frames and walls. The handle can be detached for transportation.
All working parts are contained within a seamless polyethylene bund to comply with ‘The Control of Pollution Regulations 2001’. This also gives added protection when changing the filter cartridges to avoid spillage on to floors or ground areas. An internal float switch is fitted to give ‘peace of mind’ if leaving the rig unattended. The float switch will turn the power supply off if a leak within the bund is detected.
This 4 filter unit will process 1250 litres per hour (based on 32 sec hydraulic oil) and each filter cartridge will retain up to 1 litre of water.
Power is supplied through a Mono motor and pump to give reliable continuous filtering. The outlet is fitted with a pressure gauge and an auto reset pressure cut out control to protect the pump. The pump is self priming to 5 metres. Standard units are available in 240v or 110v (other voltages available) or air driven motor.
The electrical controls consist of a lockable isolator switch, stop/start switch, and red and green indicator lights. The feed cable can be supplied with the connection of your choice.
The suction and return line hoses are supplied with quick release couplings to provide easy connecting and disconnecting and also to reduce the risk of spillage. A suction line strainer is fitted to prevent damage to the mono pump. The standard hoses are in 3m lengths, are durable and flexible and on request can be supplied in various length combinations.
Units are built to order and can normally be supplied within 10-14 working days.
Units are available in 1, 2, 4 and 6 pot combinations. We also supply static units for permanent installations. Additional extra components can include, pre-filters, oil sampling points, filter clog indicator, water meter and particle counter
