Business Development and News from China

GS has exclusive rights for the Kleenoil products throughout China and is to develop a network of sub distributors over the next 2 years. GS is now looking for China based hydraulic/engineering related companies to contact them.

During 2005 and 2006 field trials with the Shenhua Energy Group have led to the first orders and installations of Kleenoil filtration units to their subsidiary company, Shendong Coal Company Ltd. The main operation of the Shendong Company is situated on the border of Inner Mongolia and Shanxi Province and produces over 100 million tonnes of coal per year from 10 sites. The mining equipment is in operation 22 hours a day, 7 days a week and the elimination of breakdowns is paramount to production. With continuous investment and new developments, each year mining records are broken with individual mines reaching well over 11 million tonnes of production.

The Shendong Company maintains a very high health & safety record through continuous education and working practices. The mines have their own repair workshops and are very modern and well maintained and are a showpiece to many industries. They have a policy of maintaining their mining equipment to the highest standard to provide continuous mining operations.

During 2005 and 2006, engineers from FA-ST Ltd have assisted GS and the mine engineers in installing filtration units.

Road Haulage
Extensive filtration trials are now being operated with road hauliers who are experiencing great problems with contaminated diesel oil fuel within China. Units have been installed on the fuel lines to remove dirt and water contamination and initial reports indicate a significant improvement in fuel efficiency, engine performance and reduced smoke emissions. New trials for engine oil filtration will commence in early November. GS are currently having discussions with several bus companies around the ShenZhen area.

Marine
Talks are underway to offer oil filtration for hydraulics and engines to 2 operators of ships within the Hong Kong and ShenZhen port areas.
